Abstract:Objective To investigate the levels and clinical significance of blood pressure, blood glucose and serum homocysteine ( Hcy) among the patients of hypertension with type 2 diabetes ( T2 DM). Methods According to whether the merger of T2 DM, 150 cases of hypertensive patients were divided into hypertension with T2 DM group ( 115 cases) and simple hypertension group ( 35 cases) from June 2014 to December 2016. Based on the classification of blood pressure of hypertension with T2 DM, the patients were divided into grade 1 hypertension group high density lipoprotein cholesterol ( 37 cases), grade 2 hypertension group ( 43 cases) and grade 3 hypertension ( 35 cases). Serum levels of fasting blood glucose ( FBG), triglyceride ( TG), total cholesterol ( TC), low density lipoprotein cholestern ( LDL-C), HDL-C and Hcy among the patients were compared. Results The levels of FBG, TG, TC, LDL-C and Hcy in hypertension with T2 DM group were significantly higher than those of the simple hypertension group ( P < 0. 05). The levels of FBG, TG, TC and Hcy of three groups were decreased with reducing the grading of hypertension with statistical differences ( P < 0. 05). Grading of blood pressure in hypertension with T2 DM patients was significantly positive correlation with the levels of FBG, TG, TC and Hcy ( P < 0. 05). Conclusion Hypertension associated with T2 DM promotes the progress of glucose metabolism disorder, dyslipidemia and high Hcy, with the increase of blood pressure, the degree of severity increased. So, more attention should be paid for early prevention and treatment for hypertension T2 DM.
