Introduction and Performance of Four Varieties of Flat Peach in Tengzhou,Shandong

Abstract：In order to screen suitable oily flat peach varieties for Tengzhou area,Shandong province,and to screen the local peach variety structure,four flat nectarine varieties('Zhongyoupantao No.7''Zhongyoupantao No.9''Zhongyoupantao No.13'and'Zhongyoupantao No.21')were introduced in the spring of 2020.They were planted in randomly divided plots.After several years of observation and measurement of botanical characteristics,main economic traits of fruits,growth and fruiting habits,phenological periods,as well as cultivation adaptability and stress resistance,the results showed that'Zhongyoupantao No.7''Zhongyoupantao No.9',and'Zhongyoupantao No.21'were suitable for large-scale promotion and cultivation in Tengzhou area.These varieties exhibited vigorous tree growth,early bearing,and strong productivity,with fruit set observed in the second year after planting and full production reached in the fourth year,demonstrating excellent comprehensive traits.In Tengzhou area,adopting wide-row dense planting,ridged cultivation,and Y-shaped training,'Zhongyoupantao No.21'performed the best in terms of yield and economic benefit.
