Abstract:Apple pomace is often disposed of in a crude manner, resulting in a low level of resource utilization. Therefore,an aerobic composting experiment was conducted using apple pomace as the main material, supplemented with beef cattle manure and sheep manure at different ratios(T1:60%apple pomace+40%beef cattle manure,T2:50%apple pomace+50%sheep manure,T3:55%apple pomace+22.5%beef cattle manure+22.5%sheep manure),to investigate the effects on compost maturity and fertilizer efficiency. The results showed that all treatments met the harmlessness standards(temperature ≥55℃,Ascaris egg mortality rate ≥95%).Among them, treatment T2 exhibited the highest organic matter content(54.34%)and the highest total nutrient content(6.90%),making it the optimal raw material combination. The pH,electrical conductivity, nutrient contents, and humus components of all treatments complied with the national standard for organic fertilizers(NY/T 525-2021).Comprehensive maturity evaluation indicated that co-composting apple pomace with cattle and sheep manure could achieve efficient resource utilization and reduce environmental pollution. This outcome enables effective utilization of apple by-products and alleviates resource wastage.
