Patterns on the Mineral Nutrition Requirements of Apricot Trees and Efficient Fertilizer and Water Use Techniques

Abstract：Addressing issues such as imbalanced mineral nutrition ratios,low water and fertilizer use efficiency,and poor fruit quality in large-scale apricot cultivation,this paper clarified the patterns of mineral nutrient requirements throughout the full growth period of apricot trees,reviewed the misconceptions in traditional fertilizer and water management,and constructed an integrated technology system for the efficient use of fertilizers and water.In response to current management shortcomings,it proposed a model centered on soil testing and formula-based fertilization,based on the mineral nutrient requirements of apricot trees,using a"base fertilizer in autumn,precise topdressing during key periods,and foliar fertilization"approach,combined with integrated water and fertilizer management and precise moisture control technologies.Together with soil improvement,scientific fertilizer adjustment,and reasonable load management measures,this approach accurately supplied nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium,and micronutrients,improving the status of mineral nutrient imbalance.This technology could significantly enhance water and fertilizer use efficiency,optimize tree nutrient status and fruit quality,achieve high yield,quality,and green sustainable cultivation in apricot orchards,and provide technical references for production practice.
