Analysis of Nutrition,Flavor and Quality Traits of Different Rape Varieties

Abstract：In view of the problems of various rapeseed,low oil content,and different quality and nutritional flavor,9 rapeseed varieties commonly available in the market were used as test materials in this experiment,and the indexes such as agronomic traits,high yield,high oil,high protein,low thioglycoside,low erucic acid,high sterol,and high polyphenols were used as evaluation basis.The aim was to screen out the high yield,high quality and strong-flavor rapeseed varieties which can meet people's demand and guarantee the security of oil in China.The results showed that'Nanyou 901''Wangxiangyou 1881'and'Mianyou 51'exhibited superior agronomic traits.'Nanyou 901''Nanyou 1983'and'Wangxiangyou 1881'performed better in quality traits,among which'Nanyou 901'had an erucic acid content as low as 0.02％and an oil content of 48.98％,exceeding the average oil content of rapeseed in China over the past two years.'Mianyou 51''Nanyou 901''Nanyou 1983'and'Mianyou 89'showed higher contents of polyphenols and sterols.In terms of yield,'Wangxiangyou 1881'ranked the highest at 2 494.97 kg/hm2,followed by'Za 22194'and'Mianyou 51'at 2 457.15 kg/hm2 and 2 441.43 kg/hm2,respectively.In summary,'Wangxiangyou 1881'and'Nanyou 901'demonstrated outstanding performance across multiple indicators and can be recommended as high-quality cultivars with high yield and favorable nutritional and flavor characteristics for wide cultivation.
