The Current Status and Development Strategies of Fresh Maize Industry in Deyang City

Abstract：As an advantageous production area for fresh maize in Sichuan province,Deyang city has established an industrial development pattern with comprehensive coverage and stable scale by leveraging its superior natural conditions and geographical location advantages.Based on fresh maize planting data from 2021 to 2025 in Deyang city,this paper systematically analyzed the planting area,yield,output value,cultivar structure,cultivation methods,and business models.It summarized the current challenges facing the industry,such as unbalanced regional development,arbitrary variety selection,and non-standardized technology application,and proposed corresponding development strategies to provide insights for the high-quality development of the fresh maize industry in Deyang city.
