Technologies of Intensive Grafting Seedling Production of Bitter Gourd in Winter-spring Cultivation in Fujian

Abstract：Winter-spring facility cultivation of bitter gourd is an important and efficient production pattern in Fujian province.However,the current grafting seedling production of bitter gourd in winter faces problems such as low efficiency,low grafting survival rate,and uneven seedling quality,ect.This paper systematically expounded on the standardized configuration of seedling facilities,strict disinfection procedures,scientific selection of rootstock and scion varieties,optimized matrix preparation,precise sowing and germination,efficient grafting operations,meticulous environmental regulation during the healing period,seedling management,green comprehensive prevention and control of diseases and pests,and the formulation of seedling standards,and so on.The key technologies of intensive production of grafted seedlings of bitter gourd in winter and spring cultivation based on the climatic characteristics of Fujian province were summarized,aiming to provide reliable seedling guarantees for the high-quality,high-yield and sustainable development of the winter and spring bitter gourd industry in Fujian.
