Research on the Mechanism of Plum Fruit Cracking and Its Coordinated Regulation Technology

Abstract：Plum is an important stone fruit tree in China.The ripening period of plums coincides with the rainy season in summer,and fruit cracking commonly occurs,seriously affecting the commercial value and economic benefits of the fruit.Fruit cracking is the direct result of the uncoordinated growth of the peel and pulp tissues,and is affected by multiple factors such as genetic factors,environmental conditions,and cultivation management.This article systematically reviewed the mechanism of plum fruit cracking,analyzed the main influencing factors of plum fruit cracking from aspects such as variety characteristics,water metabolism,mineral nutrition,endogenous hormones,diseases and insect pests,etc.,proposed coordinated control measures to reduce the plum fruit cracking rate,improve fruit yield and quality,protect farmers' interests,and provide theoretical support for plum production.
