Innovation and Practice of High-Yield Cultivation Techniques for Ansha Yam

Abstract：Ansha Chinese yam is a local variety of yam(Huishan).It is mainly produced in Ansha town,Yong'an city,and recognized as a geographical indication product of Yong'an city,Fujian province.Ansha Chinese yam has distinct requirements for environmental factors and cultivation techniques at different growth and development stages.Based on its botanical growth characteristics,this paper summarized the"adaptive"cultivation experience covering aspects such as planting site selection,soil preparation and fertilization,seed tuber treatment,sowing,field management,pest and disease control,and harvesting,aiming to provide a reference for Ansha Chinese yam growers.
