Abstract:To explore the application effects of a new rare-earth light-conversion film in semi-substrate cultivated strawberries in solar greenhouses, this study used'Christmas Red'strawberries as the experimental material and polyethylene(PO)film as the control. The impacts of rare-earth light-conversion film(RPO treatment)on greenhouse temperature, strawberry growth at different stages, and fruit quality were investigated. Results showed that compared to the control, the RPO treatment increased air temperature within the greenhouse during multiple daily periods and on average across days. This enhancement further elevated chlorophyll content and photosynthetic parameters in strawberry leaves, with the net photosynthetic rate significantly increasing by 17.7%compared to the control. The number of floral branches under RPO treatment significantly increased by 33.33%during the flowering stage and 35.42%during the peak fruiting stage. The RPO treatment increased yield by 150 kg,raised production value by 9 800 CNY,and generated an additional net profit of 7 800 CNY.Additionally, the RPO treatment improved vitamin C and soluble solids content by 20.09%and 17.91%,respectively,compared to the control. In conclusion, the rare-earth light-conversion film significantly enhanced both fruit quality and yield in semi-substrate cultivated strawberries.
