Green Cultivation Techniques for Mengzi Sweet Green Seed Pomegranates

Abstract：The sweet green seed pomegranate is currently one of the best-tasting and highest juice-yielding varieties among pomegranates in Mengzi city.This study took the sweet green seed pomegranate in Mengzi city,Yunnan province as the research object and systematically expounded its green planting management technology system.By analyzing the biological characteristics of pomegranates and the natural climate conditions of Mengzi city,and integrating the concept of green planting,a full-chain technical solution covering orchard site selection,seedling cultivation,transplanting and planting,fertilizer and water management,was constructed.It was proposed that measures such as adopting a wide-row narrow-spacing planting model,using organic fertilizers to replace part of chemical fertilizers,applying green control technologies,and growing grass in the orchard could significantly improve fruit quality,achieve the coordinated development of ecological and economic benefits,and provide scientific basis and technical support for the sustainable cultivation of sweet green seed pomegranates in Mengzi city.
