Current Status and Recommendations for High-quality Development of Zhangqiu Scallion Industry

Abstract：Zhangqiu scallion,recognized as the first origin certification trademarked product for vegetables nationwide,is hailed as the"king of scallion".In recent years,their entire industrial chain has achieved remarkable progress,yet it has also encountered numerous constraints.This article investigated the development of Zhangqiu scallion,identified issues in three key stages-cultivation,processing,and sales.Suggestions were put forward from seven aspects,including formulating industrial development plans,strengthening the protection and utilization of scallion germplasm resources,and promoting standardized planting,in order to help promote the high-quality development of the scallion industry in Zhangqiu.
