Abstract:To investigate the effects of different cultivation modes on the growth, dry matter accumulation, and yield of Allium chinense in mountainous regions of Yunnan province and to achieve high-yield and efficient cultivation, this study established three treatments:double-row ridge cultivation(T1),wide-narrow row flat cultivation(T2),and equal-row spacing flat cultivation(T3).It measured the bulb yield, dry matter accumulation, and leaf area index(LAI)of A.chinenseat different growth stages. The results indicated that the equal row spacing flat planting pattern had the best effect, with a bulb yield of 17.50 t/hm2,which was 25.99%and 34.20%higher than T1 and T2,respectively.The total dry matter accumulation during the harvest period reached 564.64 g/m2,significantly higher than that of T1(351.22 g/m2)and T2(365.52 g/m2).During the bulb expansion stage, the leaf area index reached 1.41,showing increases of 161.11%and 314.71%compared to T1 and T2,respectively.In conclusion, the equal-row spacing flat cultivation mode significantly improved the yield of A.chinense.Therefore,it was recommended to promote this mode to optimize the cultivation techniques of A.chinense and enhance economic and resource use efficiency.
