Abstract：Medicinal plant seeds represent unique healthcare resources with abundant chemical constituents.Numerous seed oils of medicinal plant possess antioxidant properties,enabling the scavenging of free radicals and deceleration of cellular aging processes.Research and development on seed oils have commenced relatively recently,yet exhibit substantial potential and advantages.This review summarized the botanical origins of oil-bearing medicinal plants,chemical compositions,bioactivities,and current utilization status of common medicinal plant seed oils,providing references for further research and development.
