Introduction Trial of Red Chili Pepper Varieties

Abstract：As chili pigments are being increasingly used,people are demanding higher levels of spiciness in red chili peppers.In order to adapt to changes in the consumer market,this experiment introduced 23 red chili pepper varieties,including'LP-7''Dihuo'and'Tianlong 26'for cultivation.These red chili peppers were studied for their plant phenotype traits,quality traits,disease resistance,yield and other aspects.The results showed that some varieties such as'LP-9''LP-1''Super Spicy No.9''LP-2''LP-11'and'LP-3'had good adaptability,excellent traits,high spiciness,strong disease resistance,and high yield,making them suitable for planting and promotion in western Liaoning.
