Major Diseases and Pests of Garlic in Lanling County and Whole-process Green Prevention and Control Techniques

Abstract：Due to continuous cultivation for years in Lanling county,there has been an increasing trend in the occurrence of garlic diseases and pests.A whole-process green prevention and control technology model has been integrated and promoted through years of research on diseases and pests during different growth stages of garlic in Lanling county.This article introduced the main pests and diseases in Lanling county,including root rot,leaf blight,purple spot disease,root maggots,and thrips,and systematically elaborated on the green prevention and control technologies for pests and diseases throughout the entire process in Lanling county.This model prioritized physical and chemical attraction methods,applied chemical pesticides rationally,and had driven a continuous annual decline in pesticides use,providing references for reducing chemical pesticides and promoting green production of garlic.
