Abstract:In order to provide scientific basis for soil testing and P application of cucumber in China,a new study method for recommended fertilization system of crop based on soil nutrient abundance-deficiency index(ADI)were employed to investigate the ADI of soil available phosphorus(SAP)and the appropriate P application rates(APAR)for cucumber in China. This study preliminarily established a recommended P application system based on ADI of SAP for cucumber in China. The results showed that the ADI of SAP for cucumber in China for the 1st to 6th level were ≥395,98-395,25-98,6-25,2-6 and<2 mg/kg,respectively.When the target yield of cucumber was 45-450 t/hm2,the APAR for the abundance-deficiency level of SAP from 1st to 6th were 0,14-330,28-660,42-990,57-1 320 kg/hm2 and 71-1 650 kg/hm2,respectively.The APAR for the P fertilizer use efficiency of 35%,30%,25%,20%and 15%were 0-707,0-825,0-990,0-1 238 kg/hm2 and 0-1 650 kg/hm2,respectively.
