Analysis of Spatial Pattern and Influencing Factors of Geographical Indication Agricultural Products in Beijing City

Abstract:In order to fill the gap in brand building research in urban agriculture and promote high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas in the capital,using 36 certified geographical indication agricultural products in Beijing city as the research object,various methods such as ArcGIS spatial analysis,geographic concentration index,and kernel density were used to study the distribution pattern and influencing factors geographical indication agricultural products.The results indicated that the geographical indication of agricultural products in Beijing showed an uneven distribution pattern,mainly manifested as a spatial agglomeration pattern of"more in the north and less in the south,one belt multi nuclear".In terms of influencing factors,multiple factors such as natural geographical environment,historical inheritance,policy orientation,technological progress,and industrial foundation jointly affected the spatial pattern of geographical indication agricultural products in Beijing city.
