Abstract：Wampee(Clausena lansium(Lour.)Skeels)is a special fruit in South China,which is loved by the majority of consumers with its unique flavor.Flavonoids are one of the main active components in the fruit,and have various biological activities.At present,the research on flavonoids in wampee is scattered,and a systematic conclusion is still lacking.In this paper,the composition and extraction of flavonoid compounds of wampee were comprehensively reviewed.The antioxidant,anti-tumor,cardiovascular protection,cognitive enhancement,anti-inflammatory,hypoglycemic and melanin inhibition and their underlying mechanisms were systematically described,which was expected to provide a theoretical basis for scientific research on flavonoids and the development of wampee products and brand creation.
