Variety Comparison Test of Pepper in Open Field in Dingxi Area

Abstract：In recent years, the planting area of pepper in Dingxi city has been expanding continuously, but the variety of pepper is single and the yield is low. In order to enrich the range of pepper varieties in Dingxi areas such as Gansu province and select high quality and high yield hot pepper varieties suitable for cultivation, this study introduced five hot pepper varieties for open field cultivation comparative experiments. The results showed that "Longjiao No.10" and "Hangjiao No.5" had better comprehensive characteristics, higher yield and lower disease index, so they could be popularized and planted. The 3 varieties of " Jintaizhudachang ", " Jinluosi" and "Xianhong No.5" were weak in performance, poor in resistance and low in yield. They were not suitable for popularization in the open field of Dingxi city.
