Abstract：Shuanghongbaoshi pomegranate, bred in Zaozhuang fruit tree research institute in 2010, is late-maturing big grain variety. Single fruit weight 412~474g, and 100-seed weight 76.3~83.5g, and total soluble solids are 15%~16%, with best eating quality. Flowers begin to blossom in late May and early June. Fruits are mature in late October. Fruit setting of fruiting cane ability of biennial and over is high. This variety bear fruit after planting in the next year. The yield per tree with 5-year-old is 31.2kg. This variety is well worth popularizing in north pomegranate producing areas. In this paper, the writer summarized cultivation techniques of this variety and hopes to provide theoretical basis for pomegranate growers.
