Planting Technology of High Quality Tender Ginger in Sichuan Purple Hilly Region

Abstract：This paper was aimed to deal with the problem that cultivation of high quality tender ginger was difficult in clayey soil in the purple hilly regions of Sichuan province. Based on the biological characteristics, growth and development regularity of ginger and vegetables soften the cultivation principle, and combined with the practical experience, the author integrated the innovation of high-quality tender ginger cultivation technology system, i.e. "ginger planting in rice field;deep groove and high restbalk; deep hole digged by special holding clamps; 'honeycomb' cultivation technology; plastic film mulching; reasonable rotation", which solved the major technical problems that high quality tender ginger couldn't be planted in clayey soil in the purple hilly regions of Sichuan.
