Study on Development and Characteristics of Cyclodextrin
JIANG Da-yong
Abstract:There is a special space structure in cyclodextrins, that can be generated and many compounds through cooperation with inclusion compound. Therefore, Cyclodextrins is widely used. The glass transition temperature, thermal kinetics and melting point temperature of maltose (α-1→6)-β-cyclodextrin (Mal-β-CD) were examined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). By the Kissinger's equation and Ozawa's equation, the activation energy of reaction was 21.44kJ/mol and 18.7kJ/mol, respectively. Mal-β-CD can be stable in high temperatures or high concentrations of alkali, but it will be hydrolysis in acid. With the increase of temperature its solubility will increase.
