Application of Prebiotics in Food Industry

Abstract：Prebiotics is a new type of ingredients which is used in functional foods, and it is fit in with the healthy consumption attitudes of modern people and can be used in almost any types of foods. The definition and types of prebiotics, physiological function and application status are mainly summarized in this article.
