Study on Fruit Development of Muskmelon Luhoutian No. 1 and Related Growing Techniques in Solar Greenhouses
Abstract：Fruit development of Muskmelon Luhoutian No. 1 and the related growing techniques in Solar Greenhouses, such as effect of topping, fruiting at different node, planting density, are studied. The results show that the fruits grow quickly during the period from 3rd to 21th day after flowering; The suitable topping treatment is topping at 27th node; Fruiting at 14th node give a high yield and good quality ; Reasonable planting density is 1600-1800 plants in the area of 667m^2
