Synthesis of BaTiO3 Ultrafine Powders by Spray Reaction

Abstract：A new process for synthesing barium titanyl oxalate tetrahydrate－spray reaction were proposed on the basis of applying the principle of homogeneous precipitation in the droplets mini-reactor．The Ba／Ti ratio and harmful impurity of BaTiO3 was analyzed by the methods of chemical analysis and X－fluorescence spectrum．The crystal structure，particle size and morphology of the BaTiO3 were characterized by XRD，TEM，etc．．The results showed that BaTiO3 powder obtained from the process is in high purity，small particle and narrow size distribution．
