Abstract：The method that u sing magnetic treatment to increase the settlement vel ocity of particle in waste fluid produce d from amoina-steaming process was discu ssed．The principle of in creasing settlement velocity by magnetic treatment and the effect of the method on solid content of waste fluid were als o studied．This method provided a new way ensuring the quali ty of the waste fluid discharged from am oina-steaming process up to the standard of enviroment protection．
