Practice and Reflections on the Establishment of Class A Village Clinics in Tongzhou District of Nantong

Abstract:To systematically summarize the practical experience gained in advancing the establishment of Class A village health stations in Tongzhou District of Nantong since 2021.Through a series of measures including publicity campaigns,scientific planning,hardware upgrades,personnel training,and mechanism innovation,the district successfully achieved its establishment target"by 2025,20%of village clinics in the region must meet Class A standards".It has significantly enhanced the healthcare service capacity at the village level and strengthened the foundation of primary healthcare services.Addressing current challenges such as insufficient awareness among personnel,lax implementation,and loose management,the study proposes countermeasures including strengthening primary responsibility,intensifying supervision efforts,and refining incentive mechanisms.These recommendations aim to provide valuable reference for village health station development in other regions.
