Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the pathogen spectrum characteristics of respiratory and intestinal syndrome in Tianshui, and provide a basis for the precise prevention and control of bacterial infectious diseases.METHODS The laboratory test data of 816 sentinel surveillance cases(400 respiratory cases,416 diarrhea cases)in First People's Hospital of Tianshui from 2022 to 2023 were collected and analyzed epidemiologically.RESULTS A total of 816 cases were collected from the pathogen identification network of China in the study. The overall positive rate of respiratory syndrome was 8.3%(33/400),with Klebsiella pneumoniae(10 cases,30.3%)being the predominant pathogen. There was a statistically significant difference in the positive rate of respiratory syndrome among different years(x2=5.582,P<0.05),with the positive rate in 2022(5.8%)being significantly higher than that in 2023(2.5%).The overall positive rate of diarrhea syndrome was 5.9%(23/416),with diarrheagenic Escherichia coli(12 cases,52.2%)being the main pathogen. There was a statistically significant difference in the positive rate of diarrhea syndrome among different age groups(x2=4.381,P<0.05),with the positive rate in children under 5 years old(4.3%)being significantly higher than that in the≥5-year-old group(1.2%).CONCLUSION In Tianshui, key prevention and control should be carried out for Klebsiella pneumoniae respiratory tract infections and diarrheal Escherichia coli diarrhea in children. It is recommended to optimize the specimen collection process and strengthen the monitoring of foodborne diseases.
