Abstract:OBJECTIVE To understand the status of health examination indicators of residents over 60 years old in mountainous counties, and adopt scientific intervention strategies based on data support to ensure the pertinence and effectiveness of intervention measures according to the changes of chronic disease spectrum of elderly people in mountainous areas.METHODS The health examination results of residents in township health centers in Jingning She Autonomous County in 2024 were derived from the chronic disease monitoring system in Zhejiang Province. The people over 60 years old and the She people were divided into four groups according to the age of 10 years old,namely,60~69 years old(48.41%),70~79 years old(40.31%),80~89 years old(10.19%),and 90 years old and above(1.09%).The physical examination results were compared with gender and nationality according to four age groups.RESULTS The study analyzed health examination data from 16 971 participants, revealing statistically significant differences in abnormal detection rates across various indicators:dyslipidemia(61.81%),hypertension(49.37%),hyperlipidemia(38.12%),dental caries(30.09%),fatty liver disease(28.06%),hyperuricemia(15.82%),renal cysts(15.18%),diabetes(13.44%),anemia(4.35%),and decreased renal function(2.96%).These differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Among 1 895 She ethnic individuals aged 60 and above, the corresponding rates were hypertension(56.62%),fatty liver disease(28.18%),and anemia(6.28%).Similar statistical significance was observed for chronic disease prevalence and abnormal health indicators across different age groups(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The detection rate of chronic diseases and abnormal physical examination indexes in the population aged 60 years and above in Jingning She Autonomous County is high, and the increase of blood lipid, blood pressure and uric acid are the main risk factors of chronic diseases. On the basis of the prevention and control of the original chronic diseases,it is urgent to strengthen the intervention for risk factors such as hyperlipidemia and uric acid,so as to effectively curb the disease progress and reduce the economic pressure caused by chronic diseases.
