Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the spatiotemporal epidemiological patterns of other infectious diarrhea(OID)in Qingyang from 2015 to 2024 and provide evidence for precise prevention and control.METHODS Based on the data from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention Information System from 2015 to 2024,a multidimensional analysis was conducted using descriptive epidemiology, spatial autocorrelation(Moran'sⅠ),and space-time scan analysis in combination with laboratory pathogen detection results.RESULTS A total of 15 007 cases of OID were reported in Qingyang from 2015 to 2024,with an average annual incidence rate of 69.12/105.The incidence rate fluctuated annually and showed a rapid upward trend since 2019.The male-to-female ratio was 1.35∶1.Farmers(51.68%),scattered children(35.95%),and students/children in daycare(8.65%)accounted for a large proportion. The incidence rate was highest in group under 5 years old, with infants under 2 years old reaching an incidence rate of 761.56/105.The average annual incidence rate in rural areas(104.64/105)was 6.32 times that of urban areas(16.56/105).The Moran's I index ranged from 0.25 to 0.54 across the years,with"high-high"clusters mainly distributed in 13 townships of Huan County and 14 townships of Zhenyuan County. The space-time scan analysis results showed that the primary cluster was centered in Pingquan Town of Zhenyuan County, covering 16 townships(RR=3.89,LLR=1286.33).Laboratory-confirmed and sentinel hospital-monitored cases were predominantly caused by rotavirus, with positive rates of 72.31%and 65.02%,respectively.CONCLUSION The incidence of OID in Qingyang from 2015 to 2024 remained at a high level and showed an upward trend.Cases cluster predominantly in rural areas, with farmers, children under 2 years old,and the elderly identified as high-risk groups.Rotavirus infection is the leading cause.Future OID prevention and control strategies should prioritize enhanced rotavirus vaccination, health education, and environmental sanitation interventions specifically for high-risk populations in Huanxian County and Zhenyuan County. These focused measures aim to improve the health status and quality of life for residents across the jurisdiction.
