Study on Screening Results and Influencing Factors of Sarcopenia in Elderly People in A Certain Community of Shanghai

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To understand the incidence and influencing factors of sarcopenia in the elderly in the area,and to provide basis for the health management of sarcopenia in the community.METHODS The elderly in the jurisdiction were screened for sarcopenia,univariate analysis was carried out on whether they had sarcopenia or not,and then the factors that had statistical significance were included in the logistic regression model to analyze the influencing factors of sarcopenia.The results of the logistic regression analysis results were used to construct the risk prediction nomogram model of sarcopenia in the elderly.ROC curve and calibration curve were used to evaluate the differentiation and accuracy of the nomogram model.RESULTS The results of univariate analysis showed that age,calf circumference,gender,BMI,dyslipidemia,fatty liver,25(OH)D abnormality,CRP abnormality,regular physical exercise and nutritional status had statistical significance in screening for sarcopenia in the elderly(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference between high blood pressure and high blood glucose in elderly patients with sarcopenia screening(P＞0.05).logistic regression model analysis results showed that age increased the risk of sarcopenia by 1.119 times each year,and wasting was a risk factor for sarcopenia.For each unit increase in calf circumference,the risk of sarcopenia was reduced by 0.657 times.For females and regular physical exercise,normal CRP,normal 25(OH)D was a protective factor for the risk of sarcopenia,and the accuracy of constructing a risk prediction nomogram model for sarcopenia in the elderly was high.CONCLUSION According to the influencing factors of sarcopenia,early intervention is targeted to explore the continuous personalized health management of sarcopenia in the community,and improve the quality of life of patients.
