Visualization Analysis of the Current Situation of Cohort Study on Chronic Kidney Disease Based on CiteSpace

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To analyze the research hotspots and trends of cohort studies on patients with chronic kidney disease at home and abroad.METHODS To summarize the relevant progress of cohort studies on patients with chronic kidney disease,it em-ployed the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform,VIP Chinese Service Plat-form,and Web of Science Core Collection as search tools to systematically retrieve relevant literature published from 2010 to 2022.By utilizing the CiteSpace visualization analysis tool,a thorough exploration was conducted on the number of documents,high-fre-quency keywords,burst terms,and development trends.RESULTS The overall publication volume of 215 relevant articles showed an upward trend.After visual analysis,eight clusters were obtained,including chronic renal insufficiency,outcomes,mortality,dialysis,stages of chronic kidney disease,risk factors,cardiovascular diseases,and prevalence rates.In the past decade,research frontiers have primarily focused on inflammation,coronary artery calcification,and end-stage renal disease.CONCLUSION The attention to cohort studies on chronic kidney disease has continued to increase both domestically and internationally.In the past decade,re-search hotspots have focused on chronic kidney disease,prevalence rates,mortality,risk factors,and cardiovascular diseases.The re-search trends are primarily centered on inflammatory states,coronary artery calcification,and end-stage renal disease.
