Abstract:OBJECTIVE To understand the current status and influencing factors of the core emergency response capabilities of infection control personnel in medical consortium hospitals in Jiangsu.METHODS 48 grassroots hospitals within a medical consortium unit in Jiangsu were selected as survey sites. From May to July in 2023,a personal general situation survey form and a self-assessment scale of core emergency response capabilities for infectious disease emergencies were used to investigate 301 infection control personnel in the survey sites.RESULTS The overall score of the core emergency response capability of the control personnel in sudden incidents was(137.65±20.493)points,and the score rates of the three core dimensions from high to low were emergency rescue capability(81.65%)>emergency prevention capability(79.78%)>emergency preparedness capability(77.28%).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the number of training sessions in the past six months was the main influencing factor on the emergency response capability of infection control personnel.CONCLUSION The core emergency response capabilities of infection control personnel in 48 grassroots hospitals of a medical consortium in Jiangsu are generally above average, with low scores in emergency preparedness capabilities.Superior hospitals within the medical consortium can start from weak areas and further improve the core emergency response capabilities of infection control personnel in grassroots hospitals through systematic and professional training.
