Abstract:Cardiovascular diseases are the primary cause of sudden death among railway workers, posing a direct threat to the safety of transportation and production within enterprises. The"four highs"—hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, and over-weight/obesity—are significant risk factors affecting cardiovascular health.Rapidly assessing the levels and distribution characteris-tics of these"four highs,"screening populations at risk, and implementing early intervention management are crucial for the preven-tion and control of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular conditions.Currently, manual statistical analysis of the"four highs"is characterized by substantial workload, complexity, time consumption, high costs associated with manual verification, and varying lev-els of statistical analysis proficiency among healthcare professionals. The discrepancy between the strong demand for chronic disease statistics and actual analytical capabilities presents a challenge. To address the issue,it propose establishing a statistical analysis sys-tem for chronic disease"four highs"based on Excel VBA programming. The system can automate data organization and analysis while generating visualized statistical charts automatically. The operational process is straightforward, and both design processes and results are easy to manage significantly enhancing data processing efficiency.Compared to traditional manual data handling methods, utilizing this chronic disease"four highs"statistical analysis system reduces required time to less than 1%of previous durations. It effectively resolves issues related to time-consuming manual statistics on extensive physical examination data concerning"four highs"levels as well as high verification costs.Consequently,it provides precise data support and guidance for health management in cardiovascular-related chronic diseases while greatly improving overall efficiency in managing chronic health conditions.
