Abstract:Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD)is characterized by high prevalence, mortality, and disease burden in China.Primary healthcare institutions play a pivotal role in COPD management.By implementing a tiered management model of hospital-community-family-individual,which involves joint medical services by general practitioners and specialists, patients are encouraged to engage in self-management through online platforms.Additionally,a four-level prevention strategy is adopted for comprehensive COPD management. The approach effectively enhances health awareness, reduces COPD morbidity and mortality, improves the service capabilities of primary healthcare institutions, and ensures the accessibility and continuity of healthcare services.Consequently, the country's primary healthcare system will be strengthened.
