Analysis of Health Examination Results for Elderly in Chayuan Street Jin'an District of Fuzhou

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To analyze the data of health examination results for the 65 years old and above elderly people in Chayuan Street,Jin'an District of Fuzhou,in order to provide necessary theoretical support for community health management and early screening and prevention of common diseases among the elderly.METHODS 3 654 elderly people aged 65 years old and above in Chayuan Street,Jin'an District of Fuzhou,who participated in the free health examination for the elderly in 2024,were selected as the research object.The quantitative analysis of their examination results was conducted to understand the health status of the elderly.RESULTS Among the 3 654 elderly people aged 65 years old and above,the main abnormalities in the elderly's health were fatty liver,dyslipidemia,electrocardiogram abnormalities,hypertension,obesity and abdominal obesity,with abnormal detection rates of 71.46%,67.10%,61.58%,58.57%,45.84%,and 27.59%,respectively.Except for obesity and abdominal obesity,there were statistically significant differences in indicators between different sexes(P＜0.05);except for fatty liver,electrocardiogram abnormalities,obesity and abdominal obesity,there were statistically significant differences in indicators between different age groups(P＜0.05).The proportion of people with two or more chronic diseases was 67.52%,and the proportion of elderly people with comorbidities increased with age.There were statistically significant differences in indicators between different age groups(P＜0.05).CONCLUSION The chronic disease morbidity rate of the elderly in Chayun Street,Jin'an District is high.It is suggested that the community health service center should combine the elderly's high incidence of chronic diseases and target different genders and age groups to carry out health education and publicity work,thereby improving the effectiveness of elderly chronic disease prevention and control.
