Analysis of the Surveillance Results of Brucellosis in Jiyuan from 2018 to 2023

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the monitoring results of brucellosis in Jiyuan from 2018 to 2023.METHODS The information of confirmed cases of brucellosis in Jiyuan from 2018 to 2023 was collected,and the trend of incidence,temporal distribution,regional distribution and population distribution of brucellosis were analyzed.RESULTS 377 cases were reported in Jiyuan from 2018 to 2023.The average annual reported incidence of 8.61/105,no deaths.Disease onset peak in 2021 and 2022,and the incidence rate has decreased significantly in 2023.In the time distribution,cases were concentrated from February to July,accounting for 68.70%(259/377).In the regional distribution,cases have been reported in 5 offices and 11 towns,and the first three were Zhicheng Town(57 cases,15.12%),Kejing Town(50 cases,13.26%)and Shaoyuan Town(38 cases,10.08%),located in the Taihang Mountains.In the population distribution,male-to-female ratio 2.73∶1(male:267,female:101).In each year,the incidence was higher in men than in women.Age was mainly concentrated from 35 to 74 years(85.68%).Among them,the incidence of brucellosis in the 45~54 and 55~64 ages was similar,and both age groups were higher than the other ages.In the occupational distribution,the proportion of farmers was the highest(89.12%).CONCLUSION From 2018 to 2023,the annual reporting rate of brucellosis in Jiyuan showed a downward trend after increasing,and the annual reported incidence had the characteristics of time,region and population distribution.
