Abstract:OBJECTIVE By analyzing various indicators in the monitoring of acute flaccid paralysis(AFP)cases in Linyi from 2014 to 2023,discover shortcomings, propose improvement methods and measures to further enhance monitoring quality.METHODS The rank sum ratio(RSR)method was used to analyze the monitoring indicators of acute delayed paralysis in Linyi from 2014 to 2023.RESULTS According to the rank sum ratio method, the lowest RSR value in 2014 was 0.22,and the RSR values from 2015 to 2023 were between 0.25 and 0.70.The RSR values in 2018 and 2023 were relatively high,at 0.67 and 0.69,respectively.According to the RSR value, the best monitoring work in Linyi in the past decade was in 2018 and 2023,the lowest was in 2014,and the rest of the years were in the middle range.CONCLUSION The results obtained through the RSR method show that the monitoring indicators of Linyi were relatively poor in 2014,with the best indicators in 2018 and 2023,and the remaining years being in the medium range. The overall operation of the monitoring system was good from 2014 to 2023.The later work should focus on strengthening personnel training, enhancing the connection between hospitals, disease control and patients, reducing the underreporting rate of initial cases, and continuing to maintain a polio free status.
