Abstract：To explore the development of chief pharmacist system in primary hospitals under the background of new medical and health system reform,and promote scientific and refined practice of pharmaceutical management.Zhengzhou of Henan,relying on the leading unit of the county medical community,has carried out the pilot work of chief pharmacist system in primary hospitals.The leading unit of the compact county medical community carried out the pilot work of chief pharmacist system,changing the mode of pharmaceutical care by clarifying the responsibilities of chief pharmacists,improving core skills,developing hospital pharmacy dis-ciplines,and realizing drug cost control and rational drug use.As the first batch of pilot units,the implementation of the chief phar-macist system of Xingyang People's Hospital in Henan has promoted the transformation of pharmaceutical care in grassroots hospi-tals,effectively controlled drug costs,significantly improved the level of rational drug use,and promoted the development of pharma-ceutical science.The implementation of the chief pharmacist system is a new way to improve modern hospital management,promote rational drug use and fine drug management in hospitals,and has positive significance to promote the high-quality development of primary hospitals.
