Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the epidemiological and etiological characteristics of influenza in Binzhou from April 2020 to March 2023,so as to provide basis for scientific prevention and control.METHODS The surveillance data of influenza-like illness(ILI)and the etiological surveillance results from April 2020 to March 2024 were collected and statistically analyzed.RESULTS 39 311 ILI cases were reported by 3 sentinel hospitals in Binzhou, the percent of ILI was 1.63%.The difference of percent of ILI in different years was statistically significant(x2=1 646.967,P<0.05).ILI was dominated by children under 5 years old, accounting for 39.40%.A total of 4 857 samples were collected from 2020 to 2023,with a positive rate of 18.30%.There was a significant statistical difference in the positive detection rate of influenza virus nucleic acid in each year(x2=257.183,P<0.05).The difference in the proportion of positive cases of different types of influenza virus was statistically significant(x2=1 111.444,P<0.05).The positive rate of 5-age group was the highest(31.74%).There was significant difference in the positive detection rate among all age groups(x2=296.492,P<0.05).93.65%of the outbreaks occurred in primary and secondary schools.CONCLUSION The epidemic of influenza in Binzhou is seasonal, with high incidence in winter and spring, and the small epidemic in summer should be paid attention. Each type was alternately prevalent.Primary and secondary school students are the main population for prevention and control.
