Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the screening results of colorectal cancer in Baihe community of Qingpu District of Shanghai in 2023,and provide a reference basis for subsequent optimization of the screening strategy of colorectal cancer.METHODS The risk assessment questionnaire of colorectal cancer screening and fecal occult blood test(FOBT)were used to carry out primary screening in Shanghai community residents, and further colonoscopy is required.RESULTS There were 11 121 participants in this screening, and the positive rate was 22.35%.The positive rates of male and female were 24.51%and 21.02%respectively.There was significant difference in the positive rate of male and female(χ2=57.760,P<0.01).The compliance rate of 829 patients was 33.36%.The compliance rate of men and women was 36.11%and 31.41%respectively.There was significant difference in the compliance rate of different sexes(χ2=473.453,P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the compliance of colonoscopy screening among the residents with different positive results(χ2=6.006,P<0.05),the detection rate of colorectal cancer, adenoma and total lesion was 1.21%,15.92%and 46.68%,respectively.The detection rate of total lesions was the highest in the patients with two positive FOBT.There was a statistically significant difference in the detection rate of different FOBT positive frequencies(χ2=11.127,P<0.05).CONCLUSION Colorectal cancer screening is important for early detection and treatment, but compliance with colonoscopy is low among residents with a positive initial screening test, and there is a need to improve colorectal cancer screening and colonoscopy referrals to increase the participation rate in initial screening and colonoscopy.
