Medical Consortium and Family Doctor Team Jointly Manage the Effect on the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To evaluate the short-term efficacy of plum needle tapping in relieving visual fatigue and controlling the progression of myopia in primary school students.METHODS A total of 243 patients with diabetes newly contracted in Shanghai Jinshan Fengjing Community Health Service Center from June 2021 to September 2022 were included and divided into control group(n=120)and observation group(n=120)according to population characteristics.The control group was managed by a family doctor team,and the observation group was co-managed by a specialist(ophthalmologist)of a medical joint unit on this basis.The awareness rate of diabetes and retinopathy,self-management ability,fasting blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin,blood pressure,triglyceride and total cholesterol of the two groups were evaluated,as well as the incidence and progression rate of retinopathy.RESULTS After the intervention,the awareness rate and self-management ability of patients in the observation group was 84.17%,and it was 55.00%in the control group(χ2=44.564,P<0.01).There were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(Z/χ2=9.724,44.564,19.360,24.375,54.878,21.123,P<0.01).There were significant differences in fasting blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin,blood pressure,triglyceride and total cholesterol standards between the two groups(χ2=16.148,22.097,10.154,10.756,14.520,P<0.01).The progression rate of retinopathy in observation group was lower than that in control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.050,P<0.05).CONCLUSION The joint management of medical union and family doctor team can improve patients'knowledge of diabetes and retinopathy,improve their self-management ability,and is also of great significance in controlling the risk factors of retinopathy and delaying the occurrence and development of retinopathy.
