Abstract:OBJECTIVE To study the epidemiology of dyslipidemia and its influencing factors in rural areas in Fanxian County of Puyang.METHODS A total of 2 436 rural residents were collected in Fanxian County of Puyang, using multi-stage stratified cluster sampling.A standardized questionnaire was answered by each subjects through face-to-face.Physical examination data and blood samples were collected form each subjects. The prevalence rate was standardized using the data on the population distribution in China in 2020.RESULTS The prevalence of dyslipidemia was 30.95%,the corresponding standardized prevalence was 31.19%.The prevalence is higher in males than in females(34.56%VS 28.08%,χ2=11.855,P<0.01).The prevalence of hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceridemia, high LDL-C,and low HDL-C were 5.20%,10.55%,2.65%and 21.92%,respectively.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that female(OR=0.655,95%CI:0.523~0.820),unmarried(widowed/divorced/separated)(OR=0.724,95%CI:0.532~0.987),vegetable and fruit intake(≥500 g/d)(OR=0.825,95%CI:0.684~0.995)were negatively associated with dyslipidemia, while increasing age(OR=1.316,95%CI:1.002~1.732),overweight(OR=1.301,95%CI:1.063~1.592),obesity(OR=1.869,95%CI:1.455~2.400),and diabetes(OR=1.557,95%CI:1.146~2.115)were all significantly associated with an increased risk of dyslipidemia.CONCLUSION The prevalence of dyslipidemia was high in rural areas of Fanxian County in Puyang.Monitoring and control of risk factors should be strengthened to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.
