3880 Elderly People Healthy Lifestyle Plan in Banan District of Chongqing from 2021 to 2023

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To understand the health status of the elderly and provide a basis for their health management.METHODS A total of 3 880 elderly people who participated in the Basic Public Health Service Elderly Health Management Project in Banan District of Chongqing for 3 consecutive years from 2021 to 2023 were selected for analysis of their healthy lifestyle and physical examination results.The results showed that from 2021 to 2023,the elderly had high blood lipids,abnormal abdominal ultrasound,hypertension,overweight or obesity ranked in the top four.There were statistically significant differences in the detection rates of overweight or obesity,hypertension,hyperlipidemia,high abdominal blood glucose,liver function abnormalities,and abnormal abdominal ultrasound in different years(χ2=8.991,40.702,17.300,36.484,7.620,31.814,P<0.05).The detection rates of overweight or obesity and waist circumference abnormalities were higher in women than in men;from 2021 to 2023,the detection rates of overweight or obesity,hypertension,abnormal abdominal ultrasound,smoking rate,and frequent alcohol consumption rate showed an upward trend.The detection rates of chronic disease comorbidities were 49.63%,47.24%,and 56.70%,respectively.CONCLUSION In addition to conducting health check ups,It should strengthen individualized health education,enhance health education and intervention in balanced diet,smoking and alcohol restriction,weight control,advocate helping the elderly form a healthy lifestyle,and reduce the risk of chronic diseases and comorbidities.
