Analysis of Monitoring Results of Common Diseases among Primary and Middle School Students in Weifang from 2018 to 2022

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To understand the prevalence of common diseases about primary and middle school students from 2018 to 2022 in Weifang.METHODS Using stratified cluster sampling method,by class,the study monitored common diseases among primary and secondary school students in Weifang,both in the urban area and the suburbs from 2018 to 2022.RESULTS From 2018 to 2022,51.8%of primary and secondary school students in Weifang had poor vision,with high school students higher than junior high school students and primary school students,girls higher than boys.The detection rate of dental caries was 50.1%,which was higher in girls than in boys,pupils are higher than middle and high school students,suburban counties are higher than urban areas.The detection rate of overweight was 21.1%,which was higher in boys than in girls,pupils are higher than middle and high school students.The detection rate of malnutrition was 5.6%,which was higher in girls than in boys.The suburban counties were higher than the urban areas.The detection rate of high blood pressure was 17.5%,higher in girls than in boys.The above differences were statistically significant.CONCLUSION Relevant departments should take targeted intervention measures to improve the health level of students.
