Abstract:OBJECTIVE To study the application effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)constitution identification in hypertension health management of disabled people.METHODS 262 patients with hypertension in Yangzhi Rehabilitation Hospital affiliated to Tongji University from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research object, and they were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 131 patients in each group. The control group was given routine health management, while the research group was given health management based on TCM constitution identification. The blood pressure control effect, knowledge of hypertension prevention and treatment,self-management ability and quality of life of the two groups were compared before and after intervention for 3 months.RESULTS There was no difference in blood pressure control effect, awareness rate of hypertension prevention knowledge,self-management ability and quality of life score between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).Three months after the intervention, the diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure of two groups were decreased, while the blood pressure compliance rate, awareness rate of hypertension prevention knowledge,self-management ability and quality of life score of two groups were increased. The diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure in the study group were obviously lower than those in the control group(t=7.244,6.792,P<0.05),while the blood pressure compliance rate, awareness rate of hypertension prevention knowledge,self-management ability and quality of life score in the study group were obviously higher than those in the control group.CONCLUSION The application effect of health management based on TCM constitution identification in disabled people with hypertension is remarkable, which is more conducive to controlling blood pressure and improving patients'awareness rate of hypertension prevention knowledge,self-management ability and quality of life.
