Fairness and Demand Prediction Analysis of Health Resource Allocation in Jiangsu Province

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To analyze the allocation of health resources in Jiangsu in 2022 and to predict the demand for health re-sources in various regions of Jiangsu province.METHODS It used the agglomeration degree to judge the fairness of health resource allocation from both population and geographical distribution in Jiangsu province,analyzed the differences in health resource alloca-tion in different regions,and used the health resource density index for demand forecasting.RESULTS The fairness of health re-sources distribution in Jiangsu province based on geographical area was lower than that based on population distribution.There were significant differences in the allocation of health resources among northern,central,and southern regions of Jiangsu.There was a significant shortage of health resources in some regions.CONCLUSION Taking into account factors such as economic level,popula-tion density,and geographical environment,integrate and optimize the allocation of health resources within the province,narrow regional differences in health resource allocation,and enhance the overall service capacity of health resources within the province.
