Health Resources of Countries Along"Belt and Road"Based on Rank Sum Ratio Method and Agglomeration Degree Configuration Analysis

Abstract:OBJECTIVE To analyze the current status of health resource allocation in countries along the Belt and Road,and to provide theoretical reference for the development of health cooperation along"Belt and Road".METHODS Rank sum ratio method and agglomeration index were used to comprehensively evaluate and analyze the equity of health resource allocation in 8 representative countries.RESULTS In 2019,the health resources of Pakistan and Afghanistan were in the first grade(low),and the health resources of Russia,Hungary and Kazakhstan were in the third grade(high).China,Turkey and Hungary had higher fairness in the allocation of health resources according to geographical area,Russia and Kazakhstan had lower fairness in the allocation of health resources according to geographical area,Indonesia had slightly lower fairness in the allocation of health resources according to geographical area and population distribution,Pakistan had relatively insufficient health resources compared with the population,and Afghanistan had lower fairness in the allocation of health resources and a serious shortage of allocation.CONCLUSION There are some problems in the allocation of health resources in some countries along"Belt and Road",such as relative shortage of total amount,unbalanced allocation and shortage of health human resources.It should actively promote health cooperation among countries along"Belt and Road",optimize the structure of health resource allocation and enhance the fairness of allocation.
