Analysis on the Epidemic Characteristics of AIDS in Qingyunpu District of Nanchang from 2014 to 2023

Abstract：OBJECTIVE To provide scientific basis for relevant departments to carry out AIDS prevention and control work by analyzing the epidemic situation of AIDS in Qingyunpu District of Nanchang from 2014 to 2023.METHODS According to the data of AIDS surveillance in China's disease prevention and control information system,epidemiological analysis was conducted on the data of AIDS epidemic in Qingyun District from 2014 to 2023.RESULTS A total of 253 HIV/AIDS patients were reported in Qingyun District from 2014 to 2023,and the main route of transmission was sexual transmission.From 2014 to 2023,there were reported cases of HIV/AIDS in Qingyunpu District of Nanchang every year,and the number of cases showed a downward trend from 2021 to 2023.Cases were reported in 5 streets and 1 township in Qingyunpu District.The main occupations were housework,housekeeping and unemployment.The proportion of men suffering from sexually transmitted diseases was relatively high.The marital status was mainly unmarried.The education level was mainly junior college or above.The age was mainly young adults aged from 20 to 49 years old,and the sample source was mainly testing and counseling.CONCLUSION In the prevention and control of AIDS,the relevant departments should publicize the knowledge of AIDS prevention and control through various forms,especially to increase the publicity of high-risk groups.The unsafe sex intervention of male and female sex workers should be carried out,to increase the knowledge of AIDS prevention and control for young and middle-aged men and the elderly,and establish correct sexual behavior concepts and ways of sexual behavior;it strengthen follow-up management services for AIDS patients,in order to improve their antiviral treatment compliance and treatment effect,so as to effectively control the epidemic and spread of AIDS.
